Chris Higgins

 Chris Higgins is a graduate student in the Ph.D program in Prof. Salamat’s group at HiPSEC.  He started his undergraduate research experience in 2012 and did his senior project in Prof. Chen’s group.  In summer 2012, Chris interned at NSTec, where his responsibilities included field testing of sensor equipment and writing manuals for internal use. Chris received his B.S. degree in Physics in spring 2013 and his M.S. degree in Physics in spring 2016. He is currently working in collaboration with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in shock physics in conjunction with the National Ignition Facility (NIF) and the Omega Laser Facility.
