Education:

 Jasmine recently graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics. During her time there, she worked in Dr. Shanti Deemyad’s research group studying low Z elements at low temperature and static high pressure conditions in diamond anvil cell experiments. Jasmine worked on mapping superconducting phase diagrams for KFeSe and isotopes of lithium. Additionally, she studied a variety of samples and their structural phase transitions at the Advanced Light Source in Berkeley National Lab and the Advanced Photon Source at Argonne National Lab. Jasmine enjoys the machine shop and also Scanning Electron Microscopy, though the latter has not come up in a research context yet. Jasmine is excited for her graduate studies at UNLV as a member of Dr. Ashkan Salamat’s research group using high pressure, high temperature, and spectroscopy techniques.
